I graduated with a PhD in Electrical Engineering (Dec 2007) from Stony Brook University, New York, focussing on the design and characterization of Single Photon Counting Systems for DNA sequencing instruments. Since then, I am working as a Senior Engineer at Voxtel-Inc in Beaverton, Oregon.

I have pursued my Bachelor of Engineering(B.E.) with specialization in Electronics from Fr.C.R.C.E affiliated to Mumbai University. Before this, immediately after the completion of my 10th grade, I completed a three year Diploma Engineering course with specialization in Electronics and Communication from Vivekanand Polytechnic, Mumbai, India.

On the personal front, I enjoy playing almost any sport, love music, love to travel & take lots of pictures, paint/sketch (hardly get a chance now), read, and dream of travelling to space. Some of the things I want to learn in the near future are scuba diving, under-water photography and to play a musical instrument well.
