About

Employment

  • Research Assistant at Stony Brook University

I work as a research assistant for my academic adviser whose mentoring helped me mature into an exemplary Embedded Systems designer and researcher. My expertise is in hardware-software co-design using performance trade-off analysis and building optimization models for reliable data acquisition and decision making in distributed embedded systems.

I also got the opportunity to work in a research project where the purpose was to build a sound localization algorithm on a PSoC chip using its hardware reconfiguration capabilities. The algorithm was implemented on PSoC and simulated on Matlab for verification purposes.

  • Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University

I have worked as a TA for the Embedded Systems course since Aug 2009. My experience helped me enhance my troubleshooting and debugging skills. I could also improve my efficiency in writing interface drivers apart from sharpening my Assembly and Embedded C programming languages. My teaching experience and my interaction with students helped me excel in my verbal and communication skills.
